How the Trigv mobile app handles your data.

Last updated: June 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Webtions OU (dba Trigv) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Trigv mobile apps (the "App").

The App is a companion client for existing Trigv workspaces. It lets you sign in, receive push notifications, and keep notification history on your device. For the rules governing use of the App, see our Terms of Use.

1. Who we are

Data controller: Webtions OU (dba Trigv)
Registered address: Sepapaja 6, Tallinn 15551, Estonia
VAT: EE102051737
Contact: [email protected]

2. Our core privacy model

Notification history lives on your device. We deliver alerts but do not keep message text or notification history on our servers.
Data Trigv servers Your device
Account sign-in and session
Device registration and push token
Event delivery metadata (short-term)
Notification title, message, and history

When a notification is sent to your workspace, message content passes through our systems briefly for delivery, then is discarded. We retain metadata only (such as event type, channel, delivery status, and timestamps) for a short operational period.

3. Information we collect through the App

3.1 Account and authentication

What: Email address, name (if provided), authentication tokens, session identifiers, and login timestamps needed to sign you in and keep your session secure.

Why: Authenticate you and provide access to your workspace in the App.

3.2 Device and push delivery

What: Device name, mobile platform, app version, push notification token, and last-seen timestamp; channel subscription and mute/pause preferences you set in the App.

Why: Deliver push notifications to the correct device and respect your preferences.

3.3 Service metadata

What: Workspace and channel identifiers, event type, severity level, delivery status, and related operational metadata associated with notifications sent to your account.

Why: Operate delivery, debug failures, and enforce workspace limits. We do not store notification title, message, or description in these server records.

Retention: Event metadata is automatically deleted after 7 days.

3.4 Support and security logs

What: IP addresses, user agents, and related metadata from App API requests; records of significant account actions when needed for security or support.

Why: Secure the service, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

4. On-device data

The App stores notification content and history locally on your device. This data does not sync to Trigv servers.

Typical local fields include notification title and message, event type, timestamps, and read/archive state.

You control this data. It remains on your device until you uninstall the App, clear app data, or delete history within the App where supported.

5. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use notification content for advertising or profiling, because we do not retain that content on our servers.

6. Third-party services

We use trusted providers to run the App and deliver notifications, including:

Provider Purpose
Mobile push infrastructure Push notification delivery
Trigv API (hosted infrastructure) Authentication, device registration, and delivery coordination

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. Push infrastructure may process message content in transit solely to deliver alerts.

7. Data retention

Data category Retention
Event metadata 7 days, then deleted
Account, device, and session data While your account is active, plus a reasonable period after deletion for security and legal compliance
On-device notification history Until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the App

8. International transfers

Trigv and our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data.

To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. You may also sign out, uninstall the App, or use in-app account deletion where available.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In Estonia, this is the Data Protection Inspectorate.

10. Security

We use measures appropriate to the data we process, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for App traffic and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Children

The App is not directed at children. You must be 18 or older to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Account deletion

You may request account deletion through the in-app flow or by emailing [email protected]. Deletion requests are reviewed manually and usually processed within 30 days. Local notification history is not removed from your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, unless otherwise required by law.
