Terms of Service

The rules for using Trigv — written clearly for developers.

Last updated: June 13, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Trigv — including the API (api.trigv.com), web dashboard (app.trigv.com), mobile apps (iOS and Android), and the marketing site (trigv.com) — operated by Webtions OU (dba Trigv).

By creating an account, sending events, or purchasing a paid plan, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Trigv.

1. Who we are

Service provider: Webtions OU (dba Trigv)
Registered address: Sepapaja 6, Tallinn 15551, Estonia
VAT: EE102051737
Governing jurisdiction: Estonia, European Union
Contact: [email protected]

Trigv is a developer notification service. You send events from your products; Trigv delivers push alerts to registered devices and shows a live delivery feed in the dashboard (status and counts, not message text). Notification content and history stay on your devices — we deliver the alert but don't keep the message on our servers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or purchase a paid plan. If you use Trigv on behalf of a company or team, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts and security

See API Security for how we handle ingest authentication and key storage.

4. The service

Trigv provides:

Plan limits (events per month, channels, devices) depend on your current plan. We may change features, limits, or pricing for new customers with reasonable notice. Changes to paid plans you already hold are described in section 6.

5. Free trial

Trigv's free trial is app-managed — not billed through Creem.

Public signups may start a 7-day free trial with:

When the trial ends, push delivery stops until you upgrade to a paid plan. Creem checkout is only involved when you choose a paid plan (lifetime license or annual subscription).

6. Plans, billing, and payments

Trigv offers paid plans including:

Plan type Billing Notes
Lifetime (LTD) One-time payment Permanent Indie-tier limits; sold in limited batches
Indie Annual subscription Renews each year until canceled
Builder Annual subscription Higher limits; renews each year until canceled

6.1 Creem (payment processor)

All paid purchases and subscriptions are processed by Creem ("Creem"), our third-party payment provider. When you checkout:

Trigv does not store full payment card numbers. We receive billing status, subscription period dates, and customer references from Creem to operate your workspace plan.

6.2 Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal.

6.3 Lifetime licenses

LTD purchases are one-time and grant permanent access to the Indie-tier limits active at time of purchase. LTD batches may be limited in quantity and are sold sequentially — once a batch closes, that price and cap may not return.

6.4 Usage and limits

Paid plans include monthly event limits. If you exceed your limit, ingest may be rejected with an error response. Unused events do not roll over to the next month. Event metadata on our servers is retained for 7 days, then automatically deleted.

7. Refund policy

7-day money-back guarantee on paid purchases.

If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the charge — for both lifetime licenses and annual subscriptions.

To request a refund:

  1. Email [email protected] from the email address on your Trigv account
  2. Include your workspace name and the date of the charge
  3. Optionally tell us what went wrong — it helps us improve

When a refund is approved:

Refund requests made after 7 days are generally not eligible, except where required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction. The free trial is $0 and is not refundable.

If you believe a charge is fraudulent, contact us first — we will work with you and Creem to resolve it. Abuse of refund requests or chargebacks may result in account suspension.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Trigv to:

You are responsible for the content you send through Trigv and for having a lawful basis to notify your recipients. If you add team members or notification recipients to a workspace, ensure they expect alerts from you.

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate service for abuse — including excessive event volume that degrades the platform for other customers.

9. API keys and workspaces

10. Notification recipients

If you receive Trigv push notifications because a developer added you to their workspace, that developer controls what is sent. Trigv processes notification content only in transit for delivery — we do not store notification title, body, or history on our servers.

Recipients can mute channels, pause notifications, or uninstall the mobile app. For unwanted alerts, contact the workspace owner first; you may also report abuse to [email protected].

11. Intellectual property

Trigv, our logo, and the service software are owned by Webtions OU or our licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service according to your plan.

You retain ownership of your code, event payloads, and brand. You grant us a limited license to process your events solely to operate the service (ingest, deliver pushes, and show delivery status in the dashboard).

Feedback you send us may be used to improve Trigv without obligation to you.

12. Third-party services

Trigv relies on third-party providers — including Creem (payments), Firebase (push delivery), Pusher (dashboard realtime), Laravel Cloud (hosting), and others listed in our Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or failures of third-party services outside our reasonable control. Push delivery depends on Apple, Google, and your device connectivity.

13. Availability and disclaimers

We aim for reliable delivery, but Trigv is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

Do not use Trigv for emergencies where failure could cause harm. Use dedicated on-call and paging systems for production incidents that require guaranteed delivery.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webtions OU and its officers, directors, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of Trigv.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or €50 if you have not made a paid purchase.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those cases, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Webtions OU from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of Trigv, your event content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights — including sending notifications without proper consent.

16. Termination

You may stop using Trigv at any time by:

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

On termination, your right to use the service ends. We may delete workspace data subject to our Privacy Policy retention rules. On-device notification history is controlled by you on each device.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will provide notice through the dashboard, by email, or on trigv.com.

Continued use of Trigv after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, unless otherwise required by law. If you disagree with an update, cancel your subscription and stop using the service.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in Tallinn, Estonia have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
